Project description

Three disconnected spaces performing different functions and set in a 20th century building were renovated using a common style with subtle variations.

The purpose of each space provided extra flare for the colour palette. The relaxation space is dominated by vivid colours and a composition of differently-shaped niches. The perception of height was created using a stretched mirror ceiling. Conference rooms display a more official, sombre, laconic style. Book swapping space marries the cosiness of wood with accent colours.

  • Tasks set by the customer: Transform a cramped interior into a space fit for group gatherings. A space for administration must be set aside as well. The solutions must be rational, modern, and economical.
  • Challenges: find a balance between an antique heritage ceiling and modern, up-to-date style solutions.
  • Benefits: Precise estimation of resources and work required; quick and easy implementation process.
