Panevezys Culture and Recreation Park located in the western part of the city covers the area of almost 40 hectares.
The modernisation desing for the park included improvement of existing and installation of new walking paths. There were new major points of attraction designed: playgrounds for children, an amphitheater, “balconies” for viewing the banks of the Nevezis River, sports fields and formed hills. A foot bridge unique in architecture has also been designed.

As a matter of fact, a new park concept has been developed – the four seasons represented by the four main entrances to the park. They are decorated with plants and provide elements highlighting the specific season.
