Project description

The building designs 3 groups for children from 1.5 to 3 years and 11 groups for 3 to 7 years. The group premises are designed: changing rooms, games, bathroom, bedroom and kitchenette. Groups are taught in the southern, western and eastern parts of the building. In the northern part of the building, a corridor connecting the premises of the building is being designed. In the eastern part of the first floor there is a gym and technical and auxiliary premises. On the ground floor there is also an assembly hall, inventory warehouses and a laundry room.

On the second floor, in the northern part, kitchens, storage and living rooms for employees are designed. Next to the main entrance, a vertical connection of the building is designed – an elevator with the surrounding toilet facilities. On the second floor there will also be several offices: a kitchen manager’s office and a nurse’s office with a waiting room and an isolator.

On the third floor, group premises are designed in the western part, and administrative premises in the eastern part. Cabinets for the manager, deputies, housekeeper and staff premises are installed. There are also rooms needed for the education of children: speech therapist, methodologist and psychologist’s rooms.

Technological challenges

The project uses one of the most environmentally friendly heating methods, which uses renewable energy sources. Due to the small free space on the site, extremely rare geothermal drilling in the radial way was chosen. The designed wells are installed by rotary drilling with flushing and drilling fifty inclined wells from one point.

The project encountered the design peculiarities of engineering systems related to the height restrictions of the area.
